Look up pictures of Arab coffee shops. Search coffee shops by country, and compare coffee shops in different Arab countries. Next, compile a list of vocabulary words that you wish to use in your scenarios. Think about conversations (culturally/politically significant) that would take place in the coffee shops that you researched.

In addition, complete the packet attached as a pdf (also handed out in class on Friday, 10/14) to help you prepare for your tests. The format of the packet will be similar to that of the test. One correction should be made. You should expect to conjugate a simple verb in the past tense with all the pronouns.

Conjugate the verb اكتب in the present with all the pronouns. Also, conjugate the same verb in the past with the pronouns انا، انتَ، انتِ. If you are able, conjugate the verb with the pronouns هو، هي. This is not part of your minimum requirement for credit.

You are to write a letter to your parents, due on Thursday, before back to school night. You may start the letter with a two sentence introduction (انا احب، انا لا احب). Then you are to write your full class schedule, including each subject and each teacher who teaches that subject. You are to include the adjectives صعب، سهل. Each adjective must appear in the letter at least once. If you need more help with the project, please email me or come to tutorial!
